What Causes Abdominal Pain Long After Removing Kidney Stones?

I have pain in the area of my kidneys. I also feel nauseated. I had kidney stone surgery (lazer) in 2008, but this doen t feel like stones. What could be wrong. Please note that my urine is a clear yellow in color. Not as cloudy when I had stones before.

Hello,
Since you had stones in the past it would be good for you to get a urinalysis to make sure there is no microscopic blood in it. Some stones cause pain but do not give you obvious changes in the urine. If it is not from your kidneys then it could be from the back muscles. You really need to see a doctor and get an exam and urinalysis to determine the cause of the back pain.
