What Causes Abdominal Pain, Nausea And Vomiting?

I have been having sudden onset of severe abdominal pain accompanied with nausea and vomiting. It is becoming more frequent and I have upper abdominal pain most of the time. I have been a type 1 diabetic for 37 years. My last Ha1c was 8.4 but most of the time my blood sugars are good unless I don t feel well. No one can find anything. It is very discouraging.

Thank you for using HCM. From the description you have given pancreatitis and gastritis/gastric ulcer needs to be ruled out please visit a gastroenterologist at the earliest. Also HbA1c you have mentioned as 8.4% which is not under control if the method of estimation was HPLC. If the method was other than HPLC I suggest you get it checked with HPLC which is the recommended method. Glycemic variability can be burden on the pancreas which needs further evaluation.
