What Causes Abdominal Pain ,night Sweats And Stiff Neck?

24 yo F 130lbs, no PMH of diseases known. Recently started Yasmin approximately 1 month ago. Severe abdominal pain and RUQ swelling q 1 week prior to starting OC, approximately 1 month ago. My complaint is irritated throat, night sweats, dry eyes (one week). Sloughing of oral mucus membrane as of yesterday and small black spots on the parotids. Stiff neck as of this morning. No other medications other than OTC ginko, 1 a day, fish oil, vitamin C, and B12. What could this be? I have an appointment monday, but am wondering if I should go to the ER. Thanks

Thanks for your query.
You should go to ER ASAP, as the symptoms of irritated throat, night sweats, dry eyes, sloughing or oral mucosa, black spots on Parotid are suggestive of a reaction to something, This may not be due to Yasmin, can be to anything .
Most important is to get a clinical examination and confirmation of an allergy and to get a proper treatment urgently.
You need to be started on oral steroid, antihistamine and multivitamins along with therapeutic doses of Vitamin A and D.
