What Causes Abdominal Pain On The Right Side?

I am having severe pain near the right side of my abdomen after having an angiogram with a right groin femoral artery entry this pasy Friday morning. I went in to the ER over the weekend and a CT scan showed I had bled into my stomach from a likely tear, puncture, or nick in the artery. They didnt believe I was still bleeding, but my stomach is distended and very tender. The pain is no longer the worst at the groin entry but about 6 inches higher to the side of my lower abdomen. It is intense and has gotten more painful over the course of the past couple of days. The ER seems to only let me go because im stable when I go in. Any feedback you can give me would be appreciated.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persists better to consult a general surgeon and evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
