What Causes Abdominal Pain Post Drinking Contaminated Water?

I had basketball practice and got some water from the gym before I left - it had floaties and sediment in the bottom of my bottle - I didn't notice it until I drank some. now my stomach is really upset. I've drank some 7-Up and took some tums but it still hurts...what's wrong and what can I do to stop the pain?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain as you drank contaminated water , there is a possibility that it might be contaminated with a number of agents like bacteria, virus or parasites leading to stomach infection, stomach upset and stomach pain..
O would suggest you to consult a Gastroenterologist and get evaluated and he can do a clinical evaluation and investigations like Blood tests and stool culture to look for the exact cause of problems and treatment can be advised accordingly..
You can be advised Antibiotics for bacterial infection, anti parasitic drugs like Ivermectin for Parasitic infestation..
Take Acetaminophen to relieve pain..
Take a light diet with more of Probiotics like Yoghurt and Garlic..
Drink plenty of water and take sufficient rest..
