What Causes Abdominal Pain Upon Intake Of Food Post A Hysterectomy?
I had a hysterectomy a month ago. About 3 months ago I had a bout with diverticulitis. It was the first time I had ever had it. I took antibiotics and it seemed to get better. I had a colonoscopy about a month after that and everything was fine. Since the hysterectomy I have been having pains that feel like they did when I had the flare up with diverticulitis, except not as bad. My pain is after I eat....doesn t really matter what I eat. I don t have diarrhea or constipation. It just hurts in my intestinal area and my rectum! I feel pretty good when I get up in the morning but after I eat anything I start to feel the pain within 10 minutes.

take opinion of gastroenterologist and surgeon for examination and advise on treatment. get endoscopy and proctoscopy done and take the opinion of surgeon for surgical treatment.treatment can be recomanded after proper diagnosis.
