Dear doctor my daughter is 5 years old and her weight is 13.5 kg., she has frequent abdominal pain twice a month, which results in high fever, vomiting sometimes loose motions. Frequent infections in gastrointestinal tract is not uncommon. However a correct diagnosis should be made. It is better to have a CT scan or MRI done for abdomen to rule out meckel's diverticulitis. The treatment would be based upon the underlying disease.
