What Causes Abdominal Pain When Diagnosed With PCOS?
Hi dr...i was diagnosed with PCos and wat under progylution pills for 3-4 months,then i was given duvaston and after i took ovamit.i went back for an ultra sound,and the doc said my ovaries were active and i could get twins if lucky.after a week i went back for another ultrasound,and there was no pregnancy but i had ovulation pain on one side.last week he prescribed norcutin tablets for me and i feel like not taking them because the drugs are becoming too much with no positive results,i still have pains on left side.what should i do
PCOS is one of the most important cause of infertility in women. The process of getting pregnant is entirely dependent on hormones such as Fsh, Lh, estrogen, progesterone.
PCOS affects these hormone levels and causes unnecessary increase in hormones such as androgens.
Hence drugs are required to normalize the hormone regulation and help in conception.
Although it might be tedious and depressing to take a number of medicines, kindly do not stop the medications.
Continue the medications for 3 to 4 cycles to increase the chance of pregnancy.
