What Causes Abdominal Pain While On HCTZ?
Hello, As HCTZ can cause hypocalcemia and it can also cause abdominal pain and cramps, so you should decrease the HCTZ plus. You have IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome), we also predispose to abdominal discomfort, so you have to change the antihypertensive medication. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Bhadresh Lakhani
