What Causes Abdominal Pain While Stretching In A Child?
My son has been complaining about an upper abdominal pain which stretches to the right side. He has already has his appendix out a couple years ago. No fever, having bowl movements, and stomach is not warm to touch. He is in tears but they sometimes they seemed forced. I have given him tums and a gas x med. should I take him in? Mind you this is day six....
Hello dear Greetings Regarding your child symptoms of persistent abdominal pain that radiates to the right despite intake of gas x med yes I will strongly suggesting a resistant peptic ulcer disease In view of this you take him to see a paediatric specialist for further clinical assessment and re-evaluation of his medication but before that I believe he will benefit from endoscopy procedure to rule out the ulcer I hope this helps Regards
