What Causes Abdominal Pain While Suffering From Liver Abscesses?

Hi, I had two Liver abscess. They were treated with IV antibiotics intial and then with Oral Antibiotic...Namely CEFTUM and METRONIDAZOLE. It s been one month, but I still feel the pain in my right abdomen. Can liver abscess be completely healed ? Iam on a vegan diet with no alcohol and very little/no oil in my diet.

I have read and understood your concern.Sorry to hear you suffered from liver abscess.
Liver abscess may be successfully treated with antibiotics alone in some cases.Most, however, need drainage of the abscess. I will suggest you see your Doctor for a control test(abdominal ultrasound or CT scan). If still in place, your Doctor may discuss other treatment options.
