What Causes Abdominal Pain With Prolonged Spotting During Pregnancy?

I am 5 wks pregnant and I went to the hospital bc I was having severe stomach pain. While I was there they collected a urine sample at which time I started bleeding. They ran some blood work and did a ultra sound and told me I had a UTI infection and gave me some medicine. I wasn t told anything about the baby and if it was ok. I was told to go to another hospital if I wanted to make sure it was ok. I am still bleeding but not going through a panty liner but there looks to be some tissue. Sometimes its old blood and usually I only bleed when I go to the bathroom and wipe. Should I be worried that I am miscarrying? This is my 5th pregnancy and never experienced this.

Hi,

Some lab work are to be done: CBC, ESR, ultrasonography and hCG, urine culture and sensitivity. These few above tests can guide us, if you are bleeding last two test should be done [USG and HCG]. Avoid stress factors , eat healthy food [veg, fruits, salads] and do online sahaj meditation of art of living [it will bring psychological positivity and strength]. Listen music, dance, be with good friends, family, smile all day.
