What Causes Abdominal Pains, Breathlessness And Heart Palpitations During A Pregnancy?

My friend is 25 weeks preagnant. 3 days ago she started getting abdominal pains accompined with shortness of breath (she finds it very difficult to breath) and a rapid heart rate. Today, it happened 3 times in a 3 hour period. It only last for a moment or two and then it passes. There really isn t anything that triggers it, it just happens at random. Any advice would be great. Thank you.

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion the palpitations with breathlessness might necessiate to rule out anaemia. Also low sugars might also cause similar picture. So I suggest you to get Hb and blood sugars done and get treatment accordingly. If they are normal then a physician opinion might be needed to evaluate heart by echo.Take food in small quantities every 2 hourly. And healthy nutritional food.Avoid stress if any.Take adequate rest upto 8 hours.
