What Causes Abdominal Tightness And Pain After Eating While Having Multiple Myeloma?

My Dad is 84 and has had very good health until recently ,He is a smoker. He was diagnoised with multiple myeleoma but has not seen aspecialist ..However he has a complaint that when he eats ,in his stomach area it becomes hard and tight and is painful. Wondering what would cause this

Hi welcome to HCM....

You are having smoking habit ...
So it could be acute gastritis like condition ..

For that you might given omeprazole capsule in empty stomach before meal OD for two week...

Avoid excess spicy foods and fried foods
More water and fruits ....
Avoid smoking

As you have multiple myeloma there might be metastasis to stomach ...
So if needed USG and endoscopy needed for further work up...

For multiple myeloma also you should consult specialist for chemotherapy ..

Advise : Consult oncosurgeon for examination...and than if needed he might sent you to gastroenterologist ..
