Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I popped a rib coughing with bronchitis 3 months ago then returned to playing tennis twice a week and re-injured the same area. I had abnormal EKG reading the next week at a regular doc appointment. I am 67 yr old very active female. Could this injury cause the EKG to be abnormal?
Its very unsual to have a abnormal EKG because of the rib injury but still to give you a definite answer i need to have a look on the EKG first ma'am. Without seeing it its not justifying to comment.
Good Luck
