What Causes Abnormal Menstrual Bleeding And Piles Post Child Birth?
My periods were like clockwork before pregnancy, I came on every 28 Days for 7 days. I had a normal pregnancy and natural labour then went on the mucro pill. I stopped breastfeeding at 6 months, my periods came back almost immediately. I went on to have 2 more normal periods but now I m bleeding every 1-2 weeks for 5 days and have been for 2 months. I think it must be old blood because it s mainly brown in colour but very heavy. I have had stomach cramps recently and a pile (which I have never had before). I also had my cervix quarerization for high levels of pre cancerous cells when I was 19. I m 27 now. Could the cells have grown back? Could I be pregnant? Are the piles related to anything else? After vaginal delivery some woman develop piles due to injury or untreated internal injury. It may cause swelling around the anus, rectal itching, bleeding, pain, etc. Hemorrhoids commonly develop at the third trimester and disappear completely after delivery. You can take sitz bath at least two times a day. You can apply creams and ointments containing Lidocaine, like Anovate ointment in the area affected.
Since you are having abnormal menstrual bleeding, you can take a course of Regesterone (Norethisterone 5mg) after consultation with your gynecologist. Get clinically examined by your gynae to detect cyst, polyp, fibroid, endometriosis, etc. You will be treated accordingly.
