What Causes Abnormal Sensation Under The Tongue?

hello, today I've felt this weird sensation under my tongue at the very back (left side) it feels as if there is something there/ air. I've looked and it feels and appears to be normal. are there any reasons why that i feel like somethings there? it doesn't hurt however it is quite irritating.

I have gone through your question and evaluated the images too..

As per your complain it seems that abnormal sensation under the tongue can be due to inflammation in the area caused due to any traumatic injury with some hard food while can also be due to burning with hot foods or chemicals..

It can also be due to allergic reaction while any swelling associated with gum or salivary gland can also be a cause..

Nothing to worry, as of now you can apply numbing gel containing Lignocaine in that area..
Take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
Do cool compresses..
