What Causes Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding And Muscle Spasms?

My daughter is 34 and has been experiencing abnormal bleeding for the last month. She was on 2 weeks ago with cramp and heavy period and now she s on again today. This is not normal for her. She usually is on time with her period. She has muscle spasm, heavy flow and cramps. She has been under a lot of stress.

She should do more detail gynecology work up that includes estrogen levels,vaginal ultrasound and laparoscopic exploration of necessary. This may be sign of ovarian cysts or hormonal imbalanc so the exact cause should be found before treatment is started.
