What Causes Abnormal Vaginal Bleeding?
5 days after my period had ended i started bleeding again. It is not spotting but rather heavy with clots. This has continued for 3 days now. I have never spotted in between periods before so this is very abnormal for me. I am sexually active and using no contraception. Pregnancy test negative.

Abnormal vaginal bleeding can occur due to ovarian cyst or uterine fibroids. Hormonal imbalance is also a common cause of excessive bleeding. I would suggest you to take a pelvic ultrasound, thyroid function test, vaginal smear and complete blood count to identify the cause.
