Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the past week, my vagina has been bleeding. It isn t my period because my period is only due in 2 weeks and there also isn t a lot of blood. I only notice when i go to the bathroom. Also, the area around it burns and it hurts. I have to pee often. On top of that, it feels all dry and ruff inside my vagina. I have a lot of urine infections so i know that this is for sure not one. It doesnt smell too bad and there s no other discharge that comes out of it except the blood. Im too embarrassed to talk about it to my doctor so I hope you can help.
There is no reason to be embarrassed to talk to your doctor, this is the only way that you can receive treatment. If you are not comfortable talking to your particular doctor then you can consider seeing another one.
Since you are having frequent urination and the blood is only seen when you do urinate, it is possible that it is a urinary tract infection. This is one of the common causes.
The symptoms of urinary tract infection can vary from one infection to the next, not all of your usual symptoms may be present.
I hope this helps
