What Causes Abrupt Cessation In Menstruation Post Intake Of DayQuil?
hi doctor, wednesday morning i woke up sick and also started my period, i startes taking dayquil that day and the next day my period was medium light and today its gone, my normal periods are 7 or 8 days, i want to know if the pills could be the cause of my period to go away

It is unlikely that drug dayquil you taken is the cause of for your shortened menstrual period. However, we can not definitely rule out that this drug is not the cause. The drug dayquil contains pseudoepnedrine- A drug which produces constriction of blood vessels. It is possible that the constriction of blood vessels of uterus would have shortened your periods.
