Hi Dear ,
Welcome to HCM.
Understanding your concern.
Brief answer - Facial subcutaneous abscess
Detailed answer - As per your query you are having infection in teeth region due to either a major cavity or due to excessive
plaque or food debris accumulation in that area. This infection getting increased in size and forming abscess in that area which is putting pressure on jaw and causes feeling of swelling,
redness and itchiness on face as well. This can cause
bone resorption, cyst formation as well.
I would suggest you to maintain
oral hygiene properly. Visit
dentist once and get an IOPA (X-ray ) done for that tooth. Infection or cavity will be clearly seen in X-ray and then dentist will start with RCT of particular tooth along with cleaning, scaling and root planning of that area. Till take you should take antibiotics such as
ibuprofen if you not allergic to that for prevention of further spread of infection and protect the affected area. Keep doing brushing twice a day and flossing along with that. apply
cold compressors if swelling is getting increased.
