What Causes Absence Of Fetal Heart Rate And Fetal Pole During Pregnancy?

Hi I m 8 wks pregnant but during u/s scanning baby was only 6wk 1 day and no heart beat & fetal pole was not seen. So doctor advised me to abort as there s no growth. So kindly suggest me whether I ve to go according to her or else I need to take 2nd opinion too ?

Hi I think if you want to wait, you can wait for one more week and repeat the ultrasound. If findings are same, you can go for abortion. If you have bleeding or pain in between, consult your doctor immediately. Hope it helps.
