General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

When you are breastfeeding all the time your baby the prolactin levels are high making your periods absent.
You will get period as soon as you stop breastfeeding.
Possibly 6 months after birth.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
