Hiya I have missed a period for 3monthd now and I have had negative results and I recently went to the doctors to find I had a water infection so I had antibiotics.. My cycle is 35_38 days long so I have a long cycle any way but useual between them days.. I all think I might be going through early menapause since I m tierd gained a bit of weight around my mid section my skin on my face has got dryer I m off sex I just don t know what I m going on can u help at all please thanks
Periods getting less often and weight gain may be due to premenopause but having some tests to verify this is important.
FSH is the hormone that increases when the ovaries are failing to produce enough estrogen and ovulate, which may be due to entering the premenopouse. If the test is normal, then other causes should be considered and a thorough hormonal check such as prolactin, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, etc, may be needed.
