What Causes Accumulation Of Fluid In The Lower Pelvis?
I had a CT Scan done two weeks ago and I just got the results. One thing mentioned is there is a large accumulation of free fluid that exists in my lower pelvis. I've read some horrible things on the internet. Can you please narrow down what could cause that?
Accumulation of fluid in the pelvis is abnormal. It needs further investigation. It the fluid is too much then it must be removed by a needle. Subsequently it must be sent to labs for analysis. Such amount of fluid may accumulate in liver disease, bowel disease and in females due to gynecological problems. Without knowing further details and reports it is difficult to come to a single possible condition.
