Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I consistently get a sort of aching feeling in my teeth after exercising or generally exerting myself. It s not an intense pain, but more of a dull ache kind of like when you bite into something too cold or if you floss too hard after not doing it for too long. The ache is over all my teeth, not centralized to any specific area. I ve been to the dentist recently also and there are no problems with my teeth. This is something that has affected me consistently for several years but I never thought it was worth worrying about except that recently I saw it could possibly be related to angina. I don t know whether it s nothing, or if it s something I should be worried about and schedule and appointment for.
As per your complain dull ache in teeth after exercise or exertion can occur either due to infection in tooth or a generalised infection in gums.
It can also be due to trauma to the jaw and teeth during exercise..
In case if you have a habit of clenching or gritting teeth the pain can be felt due to it also..
Pain can also be felt in case if you tend to keep your teeth slightly away and with every jerk they hit against each other causing pain at a later stage..
It can also be due to some sinus congestion problems in case if you have sinusitis which can pressure over the gums and teeth causing pain.
I would suggest you to consult a dentist and get treated for any infection present in teeth or gums..
You can use mouth guards and night guards to prevent clenching or gritting of teeth..
Any sinus or cold problem should be treated if present..
Hope your query is solved..
Thanks and regards..
