What Causes Aching Jaw And Low Grade Fever?

Hi I ve had an aching jaw for 3 days. Dentist checked my teeth and can find nothing but a very tiny canker sore visible only via magnifying glass which he said will go away on it s own in 7-10 days. Meanwhile pain is increasing and now is accompanied by low grade fever. It s miserable! I ve never experienced anything like this before - What could this be?

Hello ,

Thanks for consulting HCM

Read your query and understand your concern . As far as cancer sore is concerned with low grade fever this can be due to viral stomatits . For this I will suggest you to apply ointment like Mucopain or Mugel and you can take medici e like Acivir by consulting with local doctor . If symptoms persists then consult oral surgeon for clinical examination and treatment .

Hope this will help you .
