What Causes Acid Reflux When Diagnosed With Peptic Ulcer?
Hi I am nagarjuna, suffering from acid reflux occurring ever 3 days , for that I am using pan-d and some times sompraz-l. Previously I had peptic ulcer and got cured by using somprez-l for 3 months continuously, but acid reflux is not cured. I am using these medicines since 4 yrs every 3days 1tablet. So, pleases help me how acid reflux can be cured completely. Thank you.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, PPI is the best drug for the acid reflux disease as you are taking but the right dose and time of dose would be matter of concern, let me inform you that the best PPI (Proton pump inhibitor) is Omeprazole 40 mg with Domperidone 20 mg once in day and it has to be taken at evening time for six weeks. It is also important and advisable to change the diet, like avoid taking heavy meal, spicy food, greasy food, high density calorie contained diet, have more alkali diet like green leafy vegetables, avoid citric fruit, avoid taking coffee, alcohol, smoking prior to bed. hope this information helps.
