What Causes Acne On Neck, Shoulders, Chest And Back After An Adenoidectomy?
32 y/o female. Non-smoker. Clean eater. Moderate exercise. Had a tonsil and adenoidectomy 12 days ago. Took a steroid for 7 days, antibiotic for 10 and vicodin for 5, then as needed. Noticed acne breakout yesterday. Never had acne before. It is on neck, chest, shoulders, and back. Correlation? Causation? Solution?

In my opinion it could be a side effect of drugs which you had
please visit your doctor for detailed examination of the lesion and a battery of tests to reach to a diagnosis
in milder cases you can use antibiotic ointment to be applied locally and if it itches you add anti allergic tabs to your treatment
have multivitamins and food supplements to boost your immunity.
