What Causes Acne On The Scalp After Using Onion Paste For Hair Growth?
Hi , I have acne on scalp with white puz..Ance shows twice or thrice times in a year..I dont know my hair follics are in good condition or not due to t acnes for last 5 years..I noticed less hair growth on acne areas and maximum acnes shows on front side of my head..i would like to mention that i have oily scalp as i have to do shampoo every alternative day..i do sometimes use coconut oil, mask with ( egg +onion+ginger) .After applying this egg mask last time i noticed lots of acne..I do use this mask twice in a month but i dont see acne evetytime! what should i do?
Hi. As per your case history you are having scalp folliculitis. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Avoid applying onion or any other home preparations as it may worsen the condition. 3. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
