What Causes Acute Abdominal Pain And Bloody Stool?
I m having acute abdominal pain and bloody stools. The pain in in my lower abdomen and radiates to my back on the left side. It was initially bilateral pain but is more pronounced on my left side. the pain is aching, cramping. Associated symptoms include nausea, urgency for BM s, loss of appetite, moderate to severe pain.

Following can be the differential diagnosis:
1) Amoebic colitis
2) Acute gastroenteritis
USG abdomen investigation and stool routine microscopic examination needs to be done for further evaluation.
Antibiotic course with Ofloxacin plus Ornidazole should be given for 5 to 7 days.
Drink lots of water.
Take semisolid diet and fruits more.
