What Causes Acute Gastritis Attacks During Sleep?

I had duodinal inflamation 25 years back . But it dint become ulcer,it ended up as erosion with rantacetc. But now i am getting frequent attacks of acute gastritis which affects sleep . It is also painful.I have been on lesuride for long .Also took Sucralcot and gastrcid liquid. Pl advise. vijayraghavan

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to gastritis.

I suggest taking antacids daily such as Maloox.

I also recommend taking PPI medication such as Omeprazole to low the level of acidity in the stomach.
