What Causes Acute Headaches And Swelling In The Deep Cervical Lymph Nodes?
i have a sore right eye (feels like there s something in it), i saw a Doctor/Optometrist yesterday morning who removed an eyelash that was rubbing the eye...the irritation feeling hasn t gone away, the eye is streaming more now than yesterday and is joined by acute headaches (strong enough to wake me up during the night) that run from the eye along to my ear causing earache... this happens in waves...sometime every minute or so and sometimes every 20 minutes and only lasts a few seconds. This morning i also have a gland (feels like maybe the bottom deep cervical gland) also on my right side that is swollen. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Matt
Hello dear. Cervical glands suggests some source of infection. It may be in your eyes or lacrimal gland or sinuses. Kindly go to an opthalmologist and ENT surgeon and get evaluated. once the source of infection is detected you may be prescribed antibiotics and antipyretics. You should be fine with a course of 5 days or a week.
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini
