What Causes Acute Neck Pain For A 33-year-old Female?
Sir,I am suffering from acute neck pain since last Feb 2015 with pain from neck to both hands finger tips simultaneously with severe headache & the headache goes when neck pain stops. Now since last 04months back pain over hips with severe aching of two legs & for this consulted OrthopaedicIan who found Uric Acid 6.7 & asked Furic40 & GabaNeuron for 1st months with restrictions of diet & after 1 month Uric Acid was 5.2. Now again asked Zyloric100 & Sensival25. When I have started UricAcid medicines from that s day onwards I am getting severe neck pain radiating to headache with both hands pain up to fingers with side effects of nausea, head reeling, hallucinations, etc.to which I am not able to tolerate. So kindly advised me to stop my severe neck pain associated with headache, both hands pain up to fingers tips & from those side effects. Detailed evaluation is required to find out the exact cause. You can opt for an MRI neck to rule out cervical spine related problems like cervical spondylitis.
A Doppler scan of the neck is also needed to rule out conditions like vasculitis and other vascular causes. Continue your present analgesics. As per your symptoms spine related issues like spondylitis will be the most possible cause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you all the best.
