What Causes Akathisia After Taking Benadryl And Sudafed?

I am an RN with a cold. I took 2 doses of Sudafed yesterday (at 10 am and 5 pm) and then took Benadryl before bed (6 hours later). I had Akathisia for several hours during the night. It finally wore off about 4 am. Was this a side effect of the Benadryl or a result of taking Sudafed and Benadryl on the same day? I also take Zyrtec daily for allergies.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is allergic condition then it may not needs any treatments and if this are the medicines you have taken then it is okay but along with this drink more water and try steam inhalation, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
