My daughter, age 11, started off on Monday morning with what we thought was an allergic reaction in her left eye. We did eye wash and moisture drops. By late evening she was not feeling well, sore throat, and had a temperature of 102.3. Went to the doctor on Tuesday morning and he said she did have an allergic reaction in her eye and also had fever/sore throat virus. ears & lungs clear. She maintained a fever of 102.5 for most of the day with her throat getting a lot more sore and her ear started hurting. Treated the eye w/allergy eye drops and gave her advil to help w/fever. Wednesday morning her eye was crusted shut and we continued allergy eye drops throughout the day. Fever did seem to go away. Throat and ear continued to hurt pretty badly. This morning, Thursday, eye was crusted shut, no fever, throat and ear hurt but not as much. By this evening, both eyes are now producing quite a bit of yellowish mucus. Could this just be pink eye that the doctor missed or is there anything else that I should be checking on? Thank you, Tracy YYYY@YYYY
