What Causes Amenorrhea After An Abortion?
please i had a serious abortion in October and the pregnancy was little more 7 months and because of some issues i had to abort the child,so since then i had my menses in NOV and DEC and since then i have not got my menstruation again till now and also i have been to check up but im also not pregnant ...please what might be the reason Doctor

Amenorrhea following abortion was most often due to an endocrinal or mechanical defect (often uterine synechiae). Partial pituitary necrosis, premature ovarian failure, and endometrial tuberculosis were other postabortal causes of amenorrhea and oligomenorrhea.
Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your doctor who will examine and treat you accordingly.
