What Causes Amenorrhoea And Acne On The Back?

Hi, I have irregular periods since last few years. It got regular since a year but now again missing for two months. I have back acne too. My hair has been thinning continuously. I have headaches which lasts for more than two days. Should I be worried about it? What could be the cause?

Hi, I think if you are sexually active, do a urine pregnancy test at home to rule out pregnancy first. If negative, you can take some medicines like progesterone for inducing periods. Get yourself evaluated by a gynecologist. Do a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. It can be due to thyroid disorders or polycystic ovaries.
