What Causes An Abnormality On Pancreas On CT Scan?
Hi. I had a CT done last month. For diverticulitis which was postitive and was treated with meds. I was later called and told that on that same CT a abnormality was detected on my Pancreas. I m scheduled for a MRI with dye on Mon. Should I be worried?

Which type of abnormal appearance in pancrease is not mentioned...
So we have to wait for MRI report.
But here chances of malignancy less likely as it could be easily detected and no sign and symptoms of it present.
It could be simple cyst in pancrease or inflamattory finding or may be some abnormal morphological pancreas as congenital anomaly
Wait for report....
If in between jaundice, abdominal pain like symptoms occur consult doctor...
