Hello and welcome to HCM,
Abscess besides the liver can be due to various causes.
The abscess can be bacterial in origin, parasitic etc.
Insertion of tubes in mouth is for feeding if the patient is not able to take food from mouth.
The condition of the patient can be commented by the treating doctor.

Thanks and take care
