What Causes An Altered Sense Of Smell?

Lately I am emitting a strange smell that I assume is like an ammonia scent? It smells like a home perm smell. It s definitely coming from me, I deduced. Does this indicate a health problem? I have gall stones and my latest blood work showed small amounts of bilirubin and I wonder if it s related. Thanks

it is due to effect of olfactory nerve.may be chronic rhinitis effecting nasal receptor. you are having anxiety neurosis.go for liver function test. cyclically icterus should be examined and pulpability of liver to be assessed. hepatotoxic drug or drink should be avoided. take hepatic stimulant like livogen followup for liver function should be Sensurround bilirubin level become normal.take second opinion.
