What Causes An Altered Sense Of Taste After Total Knee Replacement?

Hi 8 th day after total knee replacement with spinal block and recovering well at home. However, I m not enjoying my food as things seem to have a strong sweet taste, even tonight s treat of a Takeaway curry. Anything that s actually sweet is unbearably sweet.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due post surgical phase. It will get improved after some time. Heavy blood loss or antibiotics can be the reason.
