What Causes An Altered Sense Of Taste And Smell After Taking Tylenol?
As far as I know I just took two rapid release Tylenol for arthritis. But I had two other pills same kind in my hand to take downstairs for tomorrow. Can t find them. I took my antibiotic pill same time and it has an awful taste and smell that distracted me. Bottom line is what if I accidentally took those extra two tylenol. Is this bad. YYYY@YYYY
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Drugs are always to be taken with great care. However, Tylenol is a very safe drug, until not taken in very high dose. So for only two tablets, I don't think you need to worry a lot even if you take it twice. It won't make a big problem, it also doesn't interact with other drugs a lot. So do not worry. But be careful with drugs next time.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
