What Causes An Altered Sense Of Taste And Vomiting?
I have had a bad taste in my mouth for at least 10 days....the after type of taste post vomiting. 10 days ago I had an IBS attack, with the runs and vomiting. I also have GERD, and happened to vomit up the ginger capsules I had just swallowed that day. I have not been able to shake a nauseated feeling and this taste. A lot of food tastes like sawdust.

Seems to be alterations in taste bud following acid reflux, intake of antibiotics for IBS or else. Gargles with salted lukewarm water, mint usage, stoppage of antibiotic after discussion with your doctor will help to solve it better.
Vomiting is reflux to certain reasons and get primary relief with anti-emetic as ondansetron and secondary management as per the cause of the same.
