What Causes An Altered Sense Of Taste While Suffering From Hypertension?
I have a had a waxy feeling @ the roof of my mouth and a weird taste in my mouth for about three months now. I am pre-diabetes? Have high blood pressure, neuropathy, @ fibromyalgia, along with a slight left hand tremor @ head shaking occasionally. Any ideas what this might be?
Hello Dear. It may be due to the medications you are taking especially for diabetes if you are on Metformin, or Neurokind-G for diabetic neuropathy. But you can ignore these side effects as the benefit of taking the medications outweigh the risks.
Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you. All the best With warm regards Dr Sanjay Kini
