What Causes An Ear Ache After A Saline Sinus Rinse?

I used a salt rinse to clear my sinuses and felt it go from my nose in to my ear. It burned a little and then dripped back down. Now my ear hurts especially when I use any pressure to blow my nose. Will this pass or did I damage it with the salt water?

Hello,

I think you did not damage anything if it was 9% saline solutions or physiological.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
