What Causes An Elevated Heart Rate?

When I exert myself, I dont seem to notice my heart rate increasing even though I get very tired with little exercise. Is it possible that my atenolol/clorthalodane is keeping it from beating faster. I dont feel out of breath at those times, just very tired. YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
increase in heart rtea is normal physiological response after exercise but undue rise in heart rate and tiredness may be due to

low HB
hypoproteinemia
Thyroid disorders
generalized weakness
anxiety
sedentary life style and abrupt start of exercise

and we have to rule out cardiac cause also

get following test done and review with report

CBC
LFT for S protein
TMT for cardiac evaluation
TSH

atenolol/clorthalodane does not cause this problem
