What Causes An Elevated Pulse Rate And Irregular Heart Beats?
I am having a fast pulse rate and have taken Naproxen for some neck pain. I do take a 20mg ose of Lisinopril QD for an irregular heartbeat previously. Should I take some ASA now or a Lisinopril (took this at 8 am 5/31. I have taken 1 mg of Ativan a while ago but it has not helped.
Fast pulse rate is indicating a state of stress inside your body most probably due to: - elevation in blood pressure (bp) - anxiety - food or stomach hyperacidity
Check your bp, record the results. If it is high, can take another half of lisinopril. If still irregular heart beat although taking Ativan, can take ASA and go to ER for immediate evaluation. You might need Holter monitoring to understand what's happening your your heart beats.
Hope this helps.
