General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Swollen uvula is due to infection from mononucleosis.
When infection is cleared, uvula will get reduced back to normal again.
Ice chips can help to reduce swelling.
Just continue medication as prescribed by his doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
